നാദാപുരം : മുഖ്യ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷണര്‍ ഗ്യാനേഷ് കുമാറിനെ പുറത്താക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് എസ്ഡിപിഐ നാദാപുരം മണ്ഡലം കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിപ്രതിഷേധ പ്രകടനം നടത്തി.

ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ അട്ടിമറിക്കുന്ന നടപടികളാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന്റെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതെന്ന് പ്രതിഷേധക്കാര്‍ ആരോപിച്ചു. ഫോം 6, എസ്‌ഐആര്‍ (Special Intensive Revision) ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള നടപടികളിലൂടെ കോടിക്കണക്കിന് ജനങ്ങളുടെ വോട്ടവകാശം അട്ടിമറിക്കപ്പെടുകയാണ്.

വോട്ടര്‍പട്ടിക പുനഃപരിശോധനയുടെ പേരില്‍ അര്‍ഹരായ വോട്ടര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് വോട്ടവകാശം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന സാഹചര്യം ഒഴിവാക്കണം. ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന അവകാശമായ വോട്ടവകാശം സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അടിയന്തരമായി ഇടപെടണമെന്നും തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടപടികളില്‍ സുതാര്യതയും വിശ്വാസ്യതയും ഉറപ്പാക്കണമെന്നും എസ്ഡിപിഐ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

പ്രതിഷേധ പ്രകടനത്തിന് മണ്ഡലം പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഇബ്രാഹിം തലായി സെക്രട്ടറി അയ്യുബ് ടി,ടി എം ഹസ്സൻ,ഫൈസൽ പാച്ചി പറബ്ബൻ,ഹബീബ്തങ്ങൾ,എം കെ കെഅബ്ദുള്ള് വാണിമേൽ അൻസാർപേരോട്,അബു കുറവന്തേരി,ബഷീർചാലപുറം തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.
